If your company has multiple branches, you can manage them under Administration > General > Branches. In the base data, you can assign your employees or vehicles to these branches. This way, you can quickly filter by branch when scheduling your employees or vehicles and in the calendar views "Planning", "Overviews", and "Time-off overviews".
If your company has different branches, e.g. in different (federal) states or countries, you can map different official holiday regulations using branches. These are then taken into account accordingly when planning jobs and in the billing of employees, for example if holiday surcharges have been defined.
To do this, first create different categories under Administration > Calendar > Official holidays, e.g. Official holidays branch 1 and Official holidays branch 2. When you now record the official holidays, you can assign them to the respective category. When creating or editing branches, you can select which official holiday category applies to the respective branch.
It is possible to assign jobs and projects to the different branches. This has the advantage that jobs and projects can also be filtered by branches.
First activate branches under Administration > Projects / Jobs > Defaults and define whether by default no branch or the user's branch should be selected in the project/job. You can also define here whether the branch should be automatically adopted for subjobs.
When creating a job or project, simply select the desired branch.
