CrewBrain offers a digital employee and access ID, which is available both via the app and as printed (RFID) cards. With the help of these IDs, even persons outside of CrewBrain can verify whether an employee or freelancer is actually authorized to work for the specified company at the specified location.
¶ Configuration of the IDs
The IDs can be configured under Administration > Employees > Access ID. The ID can be provided with a company logo (identical to the logo used on the PDFs), and the background colors for the upper and lower areas can be customized according to your own wishes or your own logo.
¶ Retrieving the digital ID
The IDs are available directly on the dashboard in the app for retrieval. This way, an employee can quickly and easily prove, for example at the entrance to an event, that he or she works for a specific company.
¶ Validation & Verification
The QR code on the digital ID also enables external persons to easily and quickly validate and verify the ID. The QR code can be read with any QR code reader or directly with the camera app on most smartphones and directs to a website that shows the current location as well as the planned working hours of the respective employee.
¶ Data protection
To ensure data protection and to prevent permanent monitoring of employees from outside the system, the QR code is changed at least once daily. Old QR codes thus lose their validity, and the location of a user can only be retrieved for a very short period.
¶ Use of the analog IDs
In addition to the digital ID, we offer the possibility to print the IDs in card format on RFID-enabled cards. These IDs basically have the same functionality but have the limitation in validation and verification that the current location is not displayed for data protection reasons. The background is that the QR code on the printed IDs is static, and otherwise, via the link stored in the QR code, permanent monitoring of the users from outside the system would be possible.
